A Medical Scribe works as personal assistant to physicians, gathering information for patient visits and partnering with physicians to deliver effective patient care. Duties of Medical Scribes include tracking lab and x-ray results and patient evaluation data to healthcare professionals, and recording consultations with healthcare professionals, patients and family members.

  • Capturing and transcribing medical record documentation
  • Documenting procedures completed and recorded diagnostic test results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and discharge and follow-up information
  • Ensures medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation
  • Providing administrative support which includes (data entry, appointment scheduling, email management, record management, and time-keeping)
  • Establishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients; Acts as a primary liaison between patients and providers
  • Strict adherence and compliance with the HIPAA policy
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written proficiency)
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, strong attention to detail, accuracy, impartiality, organization, and computer competences
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a medical-related background or account; work experience as a Medical Scribe
  • Typing Speed of at least 50WPM
  • Intermediate skills with G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with Medical Terminologies
  • Must have a working USB type headset (wireless and mobile phone headsets are not allowed)

  • Headset: Any USB type headset with a noise-canceling feature

Primary Connection: A stable primary wired Internet subscription with a minimum download/upload speed of 8mbps (10mbps and up preferred)
